    time travel question

    assuming time travel exists and one day a group of time adventurers start going to the past and bringing people forward to some sort of odd consumerist utopia (the whole country is a strip mall and every citizen gets money by way of basic income to spend... the whole goal of life is to buy things and spend money)

    assuming this world exists

    who is the first historical figure who would get their anus bleached at the mall?

        Your "future utopia" sounds an awful lot like Orange County, CA ... what with the strip malls, people living off government subsidies, and anus bleaching.

              Since we are alive in a working universe, time travel cannot exist. With time travel, there would always be someone unhappy with their present who would want to go back in time and "fix" things. This would only stop when a "fix" destroyed the universe.

                  How about a utopia of 1 billion people living off the slave labor of 4 billion people? We could have that right now!

                    it would be better than the "utopia" we currently have where the whole world works to support the lifestyle of 80 or so people who contribute nothing to society
