  • Jefferson's Reserve Banking

Is the only way out of the crisis.

    It's simple really.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
    - John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

I thought this would involve slave-rape and yeoman farmers.

That'd still be a better idea than full reserve banking.

Come to think of it, Jefferson might have approved of full reserve banking. It sounds impractical and puts infuriating constraints on bankers; throw in something about deism and you'd have a deal.

            That is just wrong.

It shows a picture of Jefferson's mansion in Virginia but then tries to sell you crap from Kentucky.

              Yes, it's bourbon after all.

That has always confused me about Jefferson's Reserve. Maybe they're trying to cash in on the fact that Kentucky used to be Virginia territory?

                  From wiki:
The brand states that Zoeller chose the name Jefferson's because the bourbon was inspired by Thomas Jefferson's curiosity, experimental spirit and good taste.
Trey Zoeller likes tinkering himself. And, you know, he just seemed to like Thomas Jefferson.
