It is moderated by the free market of the site's rep/neg system in which posters rate each other's posts. Posters with more rep points, earned through more approvals (think thanks), are powerful, capable of elevating the rep points of another poster or negging them into the red.

But yes there are also actual moderators.

I recall Albert said he often posted at the body building and pick up artist web forum where the Santa Barbara shooter used to post. It was the same web forum where Albie got the brilliant advice that women would be magically drawn to him if he just stopped bathing. Hang on. I recall somebody on Apolyton advised Albie that bathing was a good thing, including for helping make a positive impression on the ladies. Albie ignored that advice, as usual.

Albie seems to never take advice and yet he took the advice not to have a bath.
