You're a ****ing moron, Lori, and consequently you're not interested in actually discussing the issue, hence completely ridiculous quips like "my dad is poor so you probably think his opinion doesn't matter". **** off if that's all you intend to do.
If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

The fact that my asinine trolling has got you in such a huff should be evidence enough that you're not really thinking objectively about this.

Whenever he gets so huffy from stuff like this, I just remember myself at his age... So I just laugh and smile, and hope that he'll do so too when he grows up.

            Give him Kuci's number?

Is Soros seen as a responsible billionaire directing money to the greater good? I know him as the guy who bet against the pound (or dogpiled it) and ****ed over the Tory party in the UK into the bargain. I guess that could be the greater good, but he made over a billion dollars out of it at the expense of Joe Britain.

Your dad doesn't have any banking clients?

HC's response to my Soros quip actually demonstrates that he's not thinking about this, but rather randomly reacting. How else would he take my statement as meaning Soros is the white knight and Koch is the Prince of Darkness (besides, that's Cheney )?

True. I look back at a lot of my old posts about philosophy stuff and shake my head. Some of it holds up pretty well, but most of it is laughable. I've got a livejournal account out there in dark gothy colors where I deconstruct the world's religions. Thankfully, it's tied to a handle I'm no longer really associated with.

Hilarious that HC took offense to the OP despite Kentonio trying to say something mildly complimentary.

And FWIW, I will believe that the Koch brothers support egalitarianism on the day they decide to frack in the aquifers feeding their own homes.

                          Egalitarianism doesn't mean equal outcomes.

If you really don't think the genocide and jaywalking thing is de rigeur in prosecution you must not know any prosecutors. It's standard up and down the line for petty criminals, mass murderers, companies, white collar criminals, you name it.
