Unpopular guess based upon how much racial attitudes have changed since the 70's: How many nonwhite people there are in the county.

Still no one living on the moon!
I also think GPS deserves a mention, though it might not have quite the shock value that free porn and handheld computers would.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Politically and economically I think certain places would be more surprising than others.
If somebody in China or Estonia or South Africa fell into a coma in the early 70's woke up today, they would feel very out of place. Even in the U.S. to go from Nixon or Ford to Obama, with a decent possibility of a woman president in 2017 would be very surprising.
However, somebody in Cuba or Saudi Arabia or Syria wouldn't be too shocked by today.
Technologically I think if somebody fell into a coma in 1970 and woke up today it would be shocking. Considering there wasn't even bar codes then, and now I can scan a bar code at my house with my smart phone and get a price check at a local walmart is probably pretty surprising.
Though, if somebody went into a coma on April 28, 1972, the day after Apollo 16 returned to Earth and they woke up today, I think they would be very surprised we had only been back to the moon once since then and that it was in 1972.
Culturally, in America at least, I think the changing attitudes to racial minorities and LGBT would be quite shocking. I don't think many people would have imagined same sex spouses getting federal benefits would become a reality (regardless if they wanted it to happen or not).
Also, the rise of political correctness, also I think twitter sparking outrages would be a very shocking idea. Meme's in general would probably be very surprising. Also, the amount of political sway corporations have acquired along with the increase in wealth inequality would be very surprising.

i've never used GPS. i tend to rely on vague half-remembered directions; it makes journeys more interesting."The Christian way has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found to be hard and left untried" - GK Chesterton.

About 10 years ago there was a Polish guy when feel into a comma in the 1980's due to a work place accident and didn't wake up until the 00's. When he slipped into a comma Poland was a communist country with a failing economy during the cold war but he woke up in a capitalist country and the cold war was over. What a change that must have been.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

I'd say:
1. That the world is still there (no nuclear war)
2. That the USSR is no more (cold war is over)
3. That we haven't colonize mars by now (1969 we are on the moon)
4. That the Rolling Stones are still performing and that Mac Cartney is now older than 64.
5. ...The books that the world calls immoral are the books that show the world its own shame. Oscar Wilde.
