Personal note: Just to give Poly a little sense of the man...
I haven't seen Tony since he retired to Florida, but only have fond memories. I met him several times, dating back to college in the 70s (I went to college with Ming and rah). For people today, picture the quintessential "Mad Men" type 60's advertising guy; that's what Tony did professionally, and with great success. But he had many more dimensions than that. Great guy, whip-smart, and loved to party -- even with his kids and their friends. Big personality that dominated any room he was in, but with quiet confidence -- never loud or pushy. Family was obviously important to him; he was married to the same woman for his entire adult life.
I never got to play golf with him, but considering his scratch handicap, that may have been for the best. Playing fantasy sports with him the past few years was ample indication of his intelligence and competitive nature. I will always picture him with that knowing smile on his face...
Certainly I cannot do him justice, but thought I'd give it a shot.
RIP, Tony Bogey. You will be missed.
