  • If Orion blows up should NASA/US blame Russia?

I remember something the Russians sent into orbit maybe a year or more ago blew up... or was lost. I also remember Russia blaming the US for the mishap. Perhaps Russia thinks they owe the US some payback ????

That's a big F* rocket on that pad - should be neat to see what happens.

Only if we give the Russians credit if the mission is successful.

Scrub. Who do we blame for that?

If it fails, we should blame Sen. Shelby.

USA still has spaceflight capabilities? Ah, right, without Russia they don't. Even then, they manage to blow up soviet engines, the most robust technology in the world.

I guess Putin told their press not to cover the Orion launch this morning.

You think since it was the topic of this thread, SOMEONE might have been able to figure it out.

Putin'so propaganda is rotting your brain. The US hastate around a dozen different unmanned launch systems and three different manned ones. The Orion, launched yesterday, is designed with missions to the moon and Mars in mind while the SpaceX Dragon is designed as a private launch vehicle which can get people into space for 1/3rd of the cost of the Russian launch system, and then there is the system Boeing has built. It is laughable you don't know this.
