so far I've saved... maybe around $500 or so
it's hard to say what I would've purchased had EA not pissed me off so much

what's on the horizon? gta 5's pc release i suppose...

blizzard came out with a tf2 clone... bored

there's the dragon age... but do I want to play an EA title? ugh

after I get bored with this latest saints row 3 playthrough, i may look at watch dogs again

maybe the 970's will be enough to make up for the horrible optimization in that game

There's probably 10 EA games/expansions I likely would have been highly interested in. So figure $300-500 just for that. Plus, with the help of other devs, my last laptop purchase was for functionality instead of gaming. So probably at least $600 in savings. And it would be getting close to time for either a dedicated gaming rig or an upgraded laptop. I actually have no idea what those actually cost now but probably a lot. So thousands seems fair. It's not all EA, of course, but they were certainly a significant factor.

DA2 was a pice of sh!t ( according to me). a complete sell out/ sleazy grab your money attempt, rushed, cachectic, a conman's work. Completely un-bioware.

My mantra as a consumer is "If you don't want my money, you don't have to take it". Poor/slow customer service? No money. ****ty games? No money. EA ****buggery? No money. Also, Spore, +$50 saved.

Spore was actually my **** EA trigger. Didn't buy it because Infogrames taught me to be cautious.

Spore was just so damn disappointing. It seems like they had a good game but then slowly turned it into **** by whittling away features.
