Fixing the world would not be my top priority if I had the powers of Q.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

What if as in Sliders people could move between Earths in parallel dimensions. I remember that there was at least one episode where an entire population was moved. Suppose you could arrange for the population to "slide" into 4 parallel Earths, or remain here? How would you choose where to put whomever?"I say shoot'em all and let God sort it out in the end!

Too many questions need to be answered before I can do that. For example: is it a one time only event with no communication between worlds thereafter, or is communication and travel between worlds freer and more efficient than that? If so, how much freer and more efficient?
What is pressuring the population on homeworld?
Is there a clear cataclysm approaching (huge asteroid, etc.)?
Who actually wants to go?
What are the qualities of the new worlds?
Etc.No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
