I did this too. I ended up making a custom city name file.

I would say Civ4 modding is slightly more complicated, but it's still relatively easy.

Do you mod graphics as well? I could never get into doing that for Civ4.

Johan? He's the guy behind their success and one of the owners. No one can touch him. He's an extremely talented dev, but a lousy people person. He's very direct and un PC. I wasn't the slightest surprised. He's always been like that, but mostly behind scenes and to a less extreme degree. I guess he's realized he can't be touched.

EDIT: Once upon a time, most his post just read "no" and other short dismissals. Those days are gone.

I absolutely agree. I love PI games, but Johan is making a mess out of Eu4. CK2 is still pure gold though. We'll have to see how HoI4 fares. As for Runewhatever, their new non-strategy game made inhouse, I have no wish to get.
