Yeah, the wife put the kibosh on anything too terribly common anyway, and while David's declining in popularity compared to trendy names like Liam or Noah, it's still a pretty standard name. There are multiple Davids at our church already, for example. And one Roman, but that one's actually rare.

Oh, **** it.
He's named after neither. He's named Malcolm, which is something of a tradition in his mother's family. The Boris Gleb thing was supposed to yank your chains, get you saying "why the hell would you saddle a kid with a name like Boris Gleb," etc. I had a plausible backstory and everything. It was going to be fun. But you bastards had to go and ruin it by being polite about the whole thing. Bah!Comment
