Are you being deliberately obtuse? There is a huge difference between running away and deliberately being a human shield. Watch the videos I've linked because they literally have the children deliberately acting as human shields following the Hamas folks in an attempt to deter attack. This isn't a case of just being stuck in close proximity and instead they're deliberately shadowing the fighters to act as human shields. Remember how they have kids run up to the roofs of buildings being used as rocket launch sites just to try to prevent Israel from knocking out the missile launchers? Gee, you seem to have a short memory.

70 years ago, Germany was lobbing V1's and V2's at London and achieving massive bodycounts (in the tens of thousands, when all was said and done). They were firing these things hundreds of miles. Now, supposedly Hamas has these massive rockets. Targets in Israel are tens of miles away. Yet, even before the recent successes of "Iron Dome", Hamas managed to do just about nothing... with supposedly sophisticated rockets from Iran or Russia... or whatever. These missile systems are so easy to use, pro-Russian separatists hillbillies in the Ukraine can effectively shoot down a jet.

Oh but attacking fixed targets on the ground about a dozen miles away? That's so super complicated. Hamas is trying to do it but just can't hit anything.

No one is saying death to all Palestinians what I have said, and continue to say, is that if you allow the use of human shields to prevent missile sites from being knocked out then all you'll do is spread the practice resulting in still more human shields and more missiles raining down on Israel from those protected sites. Where as, if you make it clear that tactic won't prevent attacks then you'll see less of the tactic being used. How is that not sound analysis?

So, as I have said, and you have continually denied, your position is Israel should never actually strike back and instead it should just let Hamas keep firing rockets into their towns. Do you think any anti-missile system is 100% effective? Israel should just accept those loses but never ever lift a finger to prevent the endless stream of attacks from hitting their cities?
