I'm a bit salty about the unfriendly regulatory environment eliminating my legitimate monetization options... (around $5k-10k per month estimated, depending on yield... assuming $20 per gram price point)... (my costs range in the low three figures yearly)
This, from a 3x2x5 foot tent. If given the chance to rent a commercial property and open a storefront, my yearly revenues would easily exceed 6 figures.
Illinois has a bit of a tax revenue issue... so I'm sure this problem will take care of itself soon.

The risk averse who presently don't partake but would enter the marketplace are enough to offset any possible drops in demand.
