Yes, his family was a bunch of fundamentalist evangelicals who made him go to SPU but apparently it was a lesser fundamentalist "Christian" school which kept mostly to actual science in its teachings. He graduated from SPU back in 2000 but now I hear there was yet another mass shooting this time at SPU. Back in 1998 I went to visit him in Seattle and stayed in his dorm room at SPU for 3 days/2 nights while he showed me Seattle. It was bad enough when my own almamatuer had a mass shooting a few weeks ago but it seems mass shootings are now even happening at the schools my friends used to attend.
Of course, we still won't do anything meaningful to reform our nation's gun laws in order to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. Nope, the NRA would never allow it because they only represent gun makers and they don't want to lose a single sale.
