  • It isn't all write...

When was the last time you used cuneiform writing? I don't mean a quick note to yourself, grocery list, sticky to a co-worker or family member. I mean something somewhat substantial.

So, I've forgotten how to write. I realized this yesterday when I sat down, with pen and paper, to write a letter to a good friend of mine whose mother just died. This is when I realized I was way out of practice. After a couple of aborted attempts, I finally, today, completed a short, two page note. It was legible, relatively neat and conveyed my thoughts.

Have any of you resorted to ink and paper, lately? Were you successful?
There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

I use ink and paper all the time. NSA can't tap into my notebook.

The last time I wrote a letter was when I asked my dad to reimburse me for my appendectomy. I figured when I'm asking for that much money I might as well be formal about it.

Come on reg. Make it a challenge for people. Don't lead with the chin.

                    A Faraday cage, of course.

Most cellphones manufactured these days are NSA robots that crawl into your ear at night and siphon off your precious bodily fluids thoughts. So I guess it doesn't really matter if you have a Faraday cage or not.

My handwriting is so piss poor at this point due to lack of use. It's pretty amazing

I hate to break it to you, but if you've ever had an MMR shot, you have OCR implants in your eyes transmitting all your written correspondence to a government database.

I'll have to write with my eyes closed then, thanks for the tip.
