I was hoping they were some sort of incendiary/explosive ammunition.
I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara
For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

For true zombie stopping power, wouldn't you want ammo that fragments or explodes?
“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

Those polymer tipped Hornady rounds do expand. They're pretty sweet actually. You get the expansion of a hollow tip with the ballistics of Spitzer bullet.

My beef with the Zombie crap is that Hornady seems to make it instead of the TAP FPD, which was ****ing sweet. I don't want some goofy green ****.

I wonder if people who shoot guns sometimes get a form of chronic traumatic encephalitis as a result of the constant barrage of sub-concussive overpressure hits to the brain.
To us, it is the BEAST.

The pentagon has plans for literally every stupid ****ing thing. It would be news if they didn't have a plan for this. There are legions of people there whose job it is to come up with a wargame or plan for every contingency, realistic or otherwise. There are probably plans for invading and conquering Lesotho. Eventually you run out of countries and have to go into silly land. Once a century something really silly happens though, so it's not a complete waste of time. Well, ok, the zombie apocalypse planning is a waste of time. But it's probably not that different from planning for a variety of other contingencies.
If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

It does fragment. Well, some hunting bullets do; others expand.
