The ADL just asked 6 of 11 questions about "too much" power, but you think its strange? They dont think its strange... Is the Jewish lobby/influence over-represented in matters of finance, media and politics? Yes... I'd be lying if I said otherwise. The survey is designed to equate opposition to power with anti-semitism. It dont matter one bit who has the power, they got too much...Understand? the channels did an ok job of getting the families out (those who wanted) who as shocked as they were (and the whole of society was), their statements made apparent the obvious, the immense pain and suffering of having a child of yours die.

I'm confused; does "unprecedented" now mean "much the same as most people everywhere thought for about a thousand years, except for a brief guilt-induced dip after a major anti-Jewish atrocity"?

Are there similar studies for other groups of people? I'm curious where anti-semitism ranks, compared to other negative stereotypes and casual racism. e.g., Mexicans are moustachioed, lazy, sombrero-wearers with holed blankets for coats or that the Irish are permanently drunk gamblers who say "potato" all day and have to fend off people stealing their lucky charms.

My question would be define "too much". If you said it was that power was disproportionately in the hands of white people, that is a reasonably measurable fact. You then move on to what negative effects this has or why it is wrong in moral terms (or the counter).

"Too much" is a nebulous concept and a terrible question to ask as it is emotive. Unless the objective is to get an emotive response (as the questioners no doubt were).

Jewish people (or white people for that matter) are not a monolithic entity. What Berz is saying is technically correct... but it's an incredibly stupid way of looking at things.

When a certain group has a disproportionate amount of power, many people, particularly of the progressive/social justice persuasion, would take issue with the existence of such privilege. It is a very common view among liberals that minority (non-white) representation in business and politics needs to be increased.

Jewish people are 2 10ths of 1 percent (.2%) of the global population. The fact that this survey even exists indicates they hold considerably more influence and consideration than their numbers would indicate (not to mention looking at even a short list of Jewish CEO's, celebrities, etc.). Consider how many esoteric ethnicities vastly outstrip the Jews in population yet are unknown. For example, there are 3x as many Fulani people or Malayali as Jews.

To not recognize that Jewish people have grossly outperformed their population is silly. In fact, Jews should be quite proud of this fact, especially given a history of oppression.

I find that difficult to believe. Their problem is with muslims in Xinjiang.
This article doesn't much support the idea that there's large scale anti-semitism in China or that the government promotes anti-semitism. The primary negative sterotype is the belief that Jews are more loyal to Israel than China. Mainly the Chinese just don't know much about Jews because there are only a few thousand Jews in China.
