My table gaming days were cut short years ago. I was 9 or 10 years old. Moved to a new town. Was the new kid (obvs). Made some new 'friends'. Got into D&D. Spent a lot of time making up backstory and stuff for the game. My 'friends' stole all my work and destroyed it.
I wasn't sad or anything. It just turned out that the D&D crowd here was populated by assholes. So I gave up on that scene and those people. To us, it is the BEAST.
