For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio
Andromeda was pretty cool I was like 12 or something when it ran I think, I remember someone piloting a ship in this big white skybox or some **** dodging pillar-like things. And they had a chess set identical to the one I received for christmas from my grandfather as a prop. And the episode with said chess set had some hot seductress I think.
Yeah so basically I saw maybe two episodes of Andromeda 10 years ago and don't remember any details at all so I don't know if it's good or not.
edit: I think the episode with the dodging the black pillary things in slipspace involved time travel
So where does this Farscape series rank? Between 'Don't bother' and Red Dwarf?
The old Farscape thread linked below contains this gem:
Farscape is the combination of the worst parts of Lexx and Star Trek.
which makes me mildly curious.
Re: Andromeda (Thanks Ming) my Problem with was purely 'look its Hercules on a Spaceship - when is he gonna punch somebody?' so I rather watched Space 2063 reruns instead.
At least Hercules spawned the strongly lesbian subtexted Xena..
I watched the last half of the Farscape series... and for the life of me, I can't remember anything about the plot... other than Crighton(?) being an astronaut.
Not that the world had ever cried out for something like the Simpsons, only obnoxious and not as clever by one third, in the first place, but the revival has been even worse.
