Okay, let's try something else, speaking of freaks: who likes comics enough to be familiar with the infamous Liefeld 'tarded-perspective Cap panel?







I blew a few hours about the first of February fixing it up - an artistic exercise, I guess, 'cause I had no purpose in mind for the pic. I was curious to see how tough it would be to do - and the basics weren't too bad, but cleaning up to hide the seams from my alterations took quite a while.

I made his head bigger, too, and sanded the worst of the Leifeldisms off his face. My version of the nose would look bizarrely small on a grown man, but the original would look freaky tiny on a ten year-old girl. The chin no longer looks quite like you could cut things with it - Cap should definitely have a square jaw, but a human one, okthanks.

The shoulder muscle ended up too long - like the star on his chest, it needs a complete redrawing, which I might could do competently, but absent someone paying me $200, I'm not interested enough to go to that much trouble.







Not saying this is good, but it's definitely better.

I would be satisfied if he'd simply turn the douche down to five - or not ever talk to/about me. His being always wrong does me no damage and wouldn't be my problem if he'd just piss off like an adult. Molly would miss kicking him around if he learned sense, class and dignity, though.
