Do you have any way of assessing the BE traffic bump you've gotten? It's finally drifting back toward normal at AC2, but we were doing somewhere over double Saturday into Sunday, and pretty good discussion levels. I hope you appreciate self and Lori, especially, for stepping up here...

As for the traffic, it wasn't a significant divergence. Google Webmaster Tools is the best way to tell what topics are driving traffic (since they gimped Analytics by hiding keywords), but it lags a few days.

In any case, I would say our CivBE related traffic was up a trillion billion percent.

...However, my curse is still upon this thread -strictly for the lulz and evulz- that mentioning Valeria Lukyanova is going to draw far, far more than its share of the lurker traffic. My sister is a Barbie artist, so I've been surrounded by those dolls for years and I'm callused against being freaked out by that part very easily -- but how the $#!@ all the lurkers kept finding a news article I posted about her that lay buried for six months gives me the heeby-jeebies, and it amuses me to spread the pain...

It's not the Big One yet, but he turns out updates about twice a month, and it's the most advanced fan patch there is, incorporating scient and kyrub's work, as well as some bugfixes of his own. And he is grateful to get bug reports, and I've seen him turn out an update -just this month- in as little as under three hours after getting a report.
