If I agree that boy's should do just as much work as girls, does that make me a feminist? It depends on what you choose to call yourself. I would never call myself a feminist because I think sometimes men are also treated as though they aren't as valuable. Calling myself a feminist is like saying women are good and men are bad (too me).

Yeah, I realize not all feminists believe the same, but generally they believe WOMEN HAVE PROBLEMS, MEN ARE PROBLEMS. But indeed, some women objectify themselves to manipulate men. Any psychologist worth two cents will tell you that the narcissist ic woman uses her sex.

Well, those women definitely exist, and I ain't got a lot of use for them either. I believe in a fair deal for everybody - white dudes and all. -I just know what going about the rights of white guys all the time sounds like to most people. I used to be an angry young white man myself, and learned the hard way.

I can't say I have a definition I give a poop about when it comes to feminism. I just do my best to be fair to everyone.

Keep in mind that us white men Rule The World. Whatever unfairness you and I are up against in a pretty unfair world - not white, not male people, on average, got a far crappier deal.

I do not say this in ignorance of liberal hypocrisy - as a white native of the Southeastern US, having been the victim of liberal bigotry -from millions of petty insults to actual hurting my employment/career in a job I was born to do and no longer do- I'd be stupid not to have noticed.

But Kid, even so, I'm still a white guy, one of the rulers of the world, and I watch my mouth about unfairness to white guys. This does not constitute sly agreement with your position w/ regard to feminism, although it does intend to convey understanding of it. Pretty much all guys go through the stage you're in at some point in their lives. We still get a better deal than the chicks and minorities, on the whole.

Or they end up in prison etc.. It's probably the biggest problem in this country. We know the same thing is going to happen to future generations but no one does anything about it.

Jobs are so important. If a black man losses his job often he has a hard time finding another one. Some black men that I know won't even quit a job no matter how much it sucks because they might not get another one. During this last recession the president planned to create jobs with his stimulus package. The jobs he planned to create would have been the kind of jobs that men of color would have gotten. Some feminists didn't like that so they pressured him to focus on jobs for women. Now I know women need jobs too but really it comes down to are we gonna do anything to save the black community or not because if black men can't get jibs we aren't goung to save the black community.

What I'm saying is we don't need ideas. We need the will. We need to do something about the family courts too. Poor men can't afford lawyers, and the need them.
