About 15 minutes ago I was in my bed when I heard my neighbor shouting so my room mates and I went outside to see my neighbor who said a man had tried to climb in through his bedroom window while he and his wife were sleeping. He got a good look at the guy, white, late teens to early 20's, about 5'5", medium build, dressed in black jogging clothes and wearing a beanie cap. The HOA's 24 security arrived with in two minutes as we're right next to their office/club house and to their credit SDPD had two cars show up with in 5 minutes but, naturally, the suspect had fled and they couldn't find him. Still, this is a little scary as I've never heard of an attempted home invasion in this neighborhood before and most of the time I don't even bother to lock my doors as my room mates and I are often in and out of the place during the course of the day (plus I have a dog, he's not especially large nor anything like an attack dog but he will bark if a stranger gets too near the house).
What type of crack head tries to break into a house through the window of the master bedroom when it should be obvious that the owner is in bed in that room?
