No worries Madam Bloom, he was talking Princess Cruises. We're mostly interested in the glaciers which means the Alaska inner passage iirc.Originally posted by molly bloom View PostBe sure that was the kind (naval) of cruise he meant.

We'll see what the future holds when it arrives.

I'm very good with children. Properly prepared and seasoned, I can make them last for two or three meals.Originally posted by Lancer View PostCan only hope for the best.
Besides Abby is pretty tough, any gay trying to cross her path to have his way with her Tatay will likely not be so gay anymore.
Just kidding. I love being a Gay Uncle. My partner has two nephews and nieces and we used to have great times at adventure parks and the beach.Vive la liberte. Noor Inayat Khan, Dachau.

I wish there was something like that around here. There is a half baked place up in Luzon I've read about but the closest Disneyland is in Hong Kong. We sell a house that's on the market there might be a trip there planned for the family. We plan for the kids to eventually have US passports for opportunity's sake but for now they can get to Hong Kong with Philippine passports. The kids love the Disney characters they see on the tube and would be thrilled, absolutely thrilled, to see the characters full sized.Originally posted by molly bloom View PostI'm very good with children. What cuties. Take 'em to ice cream parlours or local museums. At that age they're still too young to get bored (I was taken to the Tower Of London as a very young child, and look how I turned out.... okay, maybe not) and they'll remember those outings at least until they're in their fifties (like me....)Originally posted by Lancer View PostI wish there was something like that around here.

It doesn't... well, to normal people.Originally posted by MrFun View PostThe day that a person's sexual orientation won't matter in society, cannot come soon enough.
Don't worry. Those bigots are slowly dying. They are already the collective "weird creepy uncle" of their own families. To us, it is the BEAST.

Also we live on the ocean so they get to play together on the beach most mornings. Augustine loves to throw the little round beach stones in the ocean while Abby pretends to cook for him. The games change all the time but the kids never slow down while they're out there. Great exercise. Better not put that pic here there's a lady down on the beach too. Anyway then there's the pool. Abby started out loving water but only if she could touch her toes to the floor. The upper section by the ocean is just right for that when she first came home. Now not only has she caught up with her growth but she swims underwater like a fish.
