    Also, the Titanfall "campaign" can be beaten without firing a shot.

    Those who have played it already know this, but for those who haven't, be aware that Titanfall's "campaign" isn't really deserving of the name. It's there

            I bought a Wii U because I pretty much only play PC strategy games, platformers and fighting games.
            I also did not own a Wii last gen, so the backwards compatibility is nice. It may not be selling well, but I like the games I have for it (Mario 3D World, the new Donkey Kong, Rayman Legends, Tekken Tag 2) will get Mario Kart and Smash Bros later this year.

            I will probably get a Playstation IV once Sega bothers to make a new Virtua Fighter (I wish I could get it on Steam but I don't think it will happen).

              AoE2 was released Sept. 30, 1999. I said 1995.

                    Titanfall doesn't interest me, primarily because it has only 6 vs. 6 human players with some easy-to-kill AIs thrown in to make the casual gamer feel good about having a positive KDR.

                    Now, if there's a Titanfall 2 that comes out and it is for PC, XB1 and PS4 and it has 16 vs. 16 human players (minimum, but I'd prefer up to 32 vs. 32) along with some timid AIs, I'd definitely be interested in at least giving it a shot (pun intended).

                      64 player minimum is what I need to be interested in multiplayer. Anything less is a waste of my time.

                        What makes you think the AI kills affect "KDR"? The fact that you are old, pretend to be kind-hearted, and waste money on iMacs and Civilization every five years does not give you license to invent FACTS BEFORE CHECKING THEM

                          64 player multiplayer sucks because it's too chaotic and you never feel like you as one out of 32 players on your team ever makes a difference. Your play, bad or good, is insignificant to the outcome of the match. There's no buy-in to your team because you can do whatever you want and it won't matter (increasing the chaos). There's no reward.

                          Even 4v4 fireteam-based gameplay can be incredibly rewarding if done right. Hell, I'd play a 2v2 if the game mechanics were great and I had a great partner and fun competition. Then you really feel like you matter and players take it more seriously because when they screw up, they lose; when they do well, they can really gloat because it shows in the victory.

                                It depends on the game. For years, I played MAG on the PS3 — and it had 256-player domination battles (those were the biggest battles; the smallest battles had 32 vs. 32). The domination mode was created, more or less, for organized clans, and, boy oh boy, did those clans flock to that mode (as did clanless players). Once there, we had awesome, clan-led battles; heck, there were times my own clan fielded upward of 48 players, and we were organized, taking down bunker lines one by one, advancing into the map's interior to neutralize other objects and, ultimately, opening up the oil refinery at the heart of the map, taking over its control stations and blowing it up.

                                So, to say that organized battles with large numbers of players is impossible is, well, not impossible. MAG on the PS3 console did it, and I hear EVE on the PC/Mac does it, too, with even larger numbers of players.
