He could possibly screw up a second machine by doing that. Yes, there are ways to segregate the image... sandboxie, for one. But booting from that install would be necessary if the problem is malware... and Windows wouldn't like it. He'd need an identical machine.Originally posted by Lorizael View Post

Have you done a thorough malware cleaning?
But from the sound of it... BSOD and all... I'm thinking hardware issue. First the GPU and now a mouse issue? Sounds like mobo is the culprit. That would be my guess.
If you've already reinstalled and issues persist, it is most likely hardware.
Make sure your data is backed up.
