    I still think the Wal-Mart example is an example of corporate welfare.

    Tax payers basically pay to make up for Wal-Mart employees' costs of living instead of Wal-Mart increasing their employees' wages. Wal-Mart passes the costs onto the tax payers.
    A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

      Fascinating logic. The only way "welfare for the poor" can occur is if someone earns no income at all...?
