The point was to remind grumbler that judgement isn't a problem from a biblical perspective depending on how it is approached. Hypocrisy is a problem though.

Leviticus is old testament, pre-Christian stuff. I agree that the imaginary Angry God of the OT had no problems with judgementalism; the people who made him up made him chock-full of hypocrisy and judgement. I was just noting the supposed "Christian" attitude towards judgement.
The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty…we will be remembered in spite of ourselves… The fiery trial through which we pass, will light us down, in honor or dishonor, to the last generation… We shall nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth.

There's no such thing as NT only Christianity.

                    • That's surprising considering that thousands of versions of Christianity exist. Maybe there's still room for more.

I have no idea what this means. I presume it means something to the religiously initiated of your sect. In any case, please don't quote me and then throw out these kinds of non sequiturs. The point to which you responded has nothing to do with NTs (real or imagined).

                        • It doesn't matter. Go read the NT. If you don't know what you're talking about, stop talking.

Between the evangelical who believes in the Bible and reads it obsessively, and the atheist who thinks it's all lies and dismisses it, I'm not sure why we should trust the latter over the former when it comes to having a better-informed and cohesive notion of the whole thing. Especially not when the atheist's notion happens to imply that Christians should be docile, quiet and inoffensive or else somehow be inauthentic.

                            • It is true that I find the Christians who reject the example of their Christ (who was very much the docile, quiet, and inoffensive guy himself, according to the sacred Christian texts I have seen) to be "inauthentic" as regards their professed beliefs. I don't believe that more than 1% of them actually believe what they say they believe, however. Authentic "turn the other cheek" Christians are rarer than compassionate conservatives (and there are only four of the latter in the entire US).

Again, though, that doesn't bother me. I enjoy non-judgmentally pointing out the hypocrisy of others and enjoy being judiciously judgmental without being a hypocrite myself.
