In all seriousness, this thread is kinda creepy and I'm not really sure why you'd apply my name to a thread about some rapist. Rape is horrible and I don't think I've ever said anything to minimize it here.

See, I'd be okay if you put my name on a thread about a guy who steals from/murders poor people, or blows up muslims, or thinks that only people who earn a million dollars a year should be admitted to hospitals because I'm 100% for all of those things. But rape is a bridge too far.

edit: does anyone actually use date rape drugs? Pretty sure just plain alcohol is sufficient, like, you don't need to slip anything into the drink, the drink itself is enough and is typically consumed willingly by the victim. Someone with more experience date raping people let me know.

Plenty being around drunk people, I don't really drink it myself (very small amounts here and there, when it's expected)

Also, I'm not saying that out of personal experience; iirc almost all date rape is performed with alcohol. I just can't be bothered to dig up the surveys and such.

It looks like date rape drugs other than booze are pretty rare. Whereas people willingly get drunk enough not to give consent all the ****ing time.

It takes a LOT of booze to get someone as incapacitated as they are by Rohypnol. I don't know enough to give an exact figure, but I'd guess at least six drinks in one hour, for a lightweight. When I turned twenty-one, my brothers got me the drunkest I've ever been--fourteen drinks in less than eight hours, IIRC. I wound up feeling fairly queasy, my vision went dim, and I did some really stupid stuff, but I never even threw up. I can do three or four drinks in an hour and just feel loopy. Rohypnol, by comparison, leaves a person nearly comatose, and induces amnesia to boot. And you don't have to talk her into getting preposterously drunk, or pick up her two-hundred-dollar tab.

I have seen women black out from drinking liquor on more than one occasion. When you're 100 pounds and you're drinking shots it doesn't take very long.

When I was a freshman one girl on my floor got hospitalized. She had been drinking grain alcohol. She was 90 pounds, 5'1".
