First True Detective's fourth episode got bumped for a week because SUPER BOWL. Now I have to wait the better part of a month for more Community and Parks & Rec. And it looks like Archer (Vice) is on break until the 24th also.

**** SPORTS! They're not fun to watch. Unless you've got money riding on them, or you're ****faced drunk, they're boring as hell. Some people I've never heard of are doing things. Oh and here's the announcer telling me what I'm seeing on the screen, because I'm blind but for some reason still watching TV. And I'm supposed to care.

The last time sports were cool to watch, they involved chariot races and naval battles in the Colosseum. When the Olympics bring blood back into the mix, call me. Until then I'll be experimenting with new brownie recipes and hating the entire world for disagreeing with me.

Is this your attempt to be lamer than Alby?

Sports can be interesting sometimes. I'd watch hockey but they spend too much time skating and hitting the "puck" with their sticks.

If you think the Super Bowl makes for better television than True Detective, you're a damn fool.

How many were only watching because of the commercials? They're still terrible TV but they're better than football.

This year's Super Bowl was poor, but the last few years have shown some great matchups, which I'd rather watch than "True Detective".

And why are the commercials so much better for the Super Bowl? Couldn't have anything to do with the fact that people are genuinely excited and interested in competition and in the final game of the NFL season in particular? Just because y'all are weird and don't care about competition, doesn't mean the rest of the world think you are anywhere near normal.

You are a silly person and you should feel silly for saying silly things.

I think the ads are better because people have come to accept it as a part of the tradition. Other championships drag on for days, and aren't such a broad spectacle. The Super Bowl is an occasion for parties and dumb ****. I was proud to see two weed friendly states battling it out, but otherwise I didn't care. I bet a lot of people are like me, and frankly don't give a ****. The game is not the entire attraction, just like how Christmas isn't all about going to church.

I am a correct person. You can feel fine in your silly opinions that I am silly

There is a reason that the it is accepted as "part of the tradition". Because NFL Football is the most popular viewing in the country. Monday/Sunday Night Football consistently wins the ratings for the week and has for years. Ads makers capitalized on the massive viewing for the SuperBowl and also viewed it as a way to reach the women folk who may not be interested in the game, but that was what is on the TV because their husbands/sons/fathers etc were dedicated to watching it.

Yes, it's possible that "the rest of the world" thinks the 7.03 billion people who didn't watch the Super Bowl aren't anywhere near normal.

Network television is a business. It only exists to get people to watch commercials.

The Super Bowl does television better than any tv show does.
