Governor of Japan broadcaster NHK denies Nanjing massacre

A governor of Japan's public broadcaster, NHK, has denied that the Nanjing massacre took place, days after a row over Tokyo's use of war-time sex slaves engulfed the new NHK chief...

"In 1938, Chiang Kai-shek tried to publicise Japan's responsibility for the Nanking Massacre, but the nations of the world ignored him. Why? Because it never happened," the Asahi newspaper quoted Mr Hyakuta as saying.

Japan upset by S Korean 'comfort women' exhibit at French comic book festival

ANGOULEME — Japan has expressed its regret at a South Korean exhibit at an international comic book festival in France featuring “comfort women” forced into wartime sex slavery in Japanese military brothels.

Japan’s ambassador to France, Yoichi Suzuki, said he “deeply regrets that this exhibition is taking place”, saying it promoted “a mistaken point of view that further complicates relations between South Korea and Japan”.

Don't get it twisted - I loathe and despise the CCP. They held back during the war and betrayed the KMT, the Chinese people, and the Allies by not aggressively confronting the Japanese. But when America's conquered vassals in Tokyo insist on denying their war crimes, it makes me think that we wasted a bomb on Trinity. Is Japan actively trying to subvert America's foreign policy in Asia by undermining our relationships with Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines and other key allies? Or are they just that ****ing stupid?

These aren't the deranged rantings of homeless people. When you're talking about the head of the government broadcasting service, or an ambassador, you are talking about people who do "speak for an entire country."
