Most of Africa wouldn't have any railroads or infrastructure whatsoever if it weren't for the British Empire and it's not like they did anything they weren't already doing to each other.
The countries attacked by Britain map is misleading at best, for instance Brazil was "attacked" when Britain was at war with Portugal and Finland was "attacked" when Britain nominally declared war against it because it was fighting the winter war against the Soviet Union.
