Since noone seems to believe it'll be Christie vs. Hillary, I'm willing to post another poll. Should I?

Cuomo can't win after his gun control law. It tanked his popularity in new york and there's enough rural states that would otherwise go blue that he'd lose.

I mean, it's possible he could make a comeback. I just think it's unlikely.

Not only is this not true based on Gallup polls (gun control is seeing a steady and significant decline in support) but gun owners are a significant and highly motivated voting bloc. Take note of the recall elections in Colorado and how Michael Bloomberg's MAIG was unable to keep anti-gun Democrats in office despite outspending pro-gun groups by 4:1 in many cases.

Cuomo's gun control excursion might help him in the Democratic primaries but I doubt that he's electable.

Paul Ryan is probably electable but I don't know if he'll actually want to run.
