Can you imagine the outcry if the Framers tried to give Congress the power to "regulate anything affecting commerce among the states" or punishing a farmer for eating his own food?
Probably less of an outcry than banning slavery.
So yeah... I don't give a **** about the framers. No one should. They were horrible people... mostly.
