Congratulations DD for becoming the President of the United States.
    Indeed. He's a masterful DL.

I wonder about the line of thinking that believes Cruz is not... American families who are expecting and about the take vacations will cancel plans, just so their kids can one day become the President of the United States .

How is he eligible? He wasn't born in the US.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce spent around $200,000 on Byrne’s behalf, and Ending Spending, an outside group bankrolled by TD Ameritrade founder Joe Ricketts, spent around $75,000 on TV and ads boosting him. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy sent checks to Byrne, as did dozens of Washington-based political action committees.

In the end, Byrne outraised Young more than two-to-one
Not hard to believe. The GOP has declared war on the tea party. The RNC spent more on Byrne to defeat a primary challenger than they spent on Cucinelli to help him defeat McAuliffe. Does this strike you as an especially sound strategy? It sounds to me like a recipe for losers.

I like that Ben blames DD for backstabbing conservatives. That was funny. As was the Cruz being ineligible thing.

Send Todd Akin a Christmas card for that Ben.
Gosh, I couldn't have predicted a smear of Akin.

Todd Akin lost North frickin Dakota? Romney had the negative coattails, that all the polls showed. He had a depressive effect on turnout which cost the Republicans gains in the Senate and the presidency. The argument for Romney basically amounted to "he sucked less than all the others," which is a stunning reason to vote for a candidate.

Me too. I like some of his solo work, but prefer the Walker Brother albums as a whole.

    Hardly.

I ask again - Dinodoc. Why did conservatives cause Romney to lose in 2012? I want to hear you explanation for why perfectly sane solid candidates like Romney suck at winning elections.
