My garden is pesticide free; I don't like handling the stuff myself.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Even if this were true, the only food chain that matters is ground->vegetables->[livestock->]my plate.

Mine is pesticide free too but that's mostly because I'm lazy and, yes, the bugs do seem to get half of it.

My garden is owned by a huge agribusiness. I picked up the yield at my local grocery store. The fact that my only connection with the actual gardening is indirect financial support is inconsequential. I love trade.

Well thats one way of justifying the amount of canned veggies you eat.

Apparently Kucibro finds flavor and texture inconsequential as well.

The fact that pesticides and such are killing bees is a reason to make new pesticides, not to abandon all modern farming techniques.

I sometimes eat frozen vegetables too. Canned is cheaper though.

Do you ever think you'll move to a place that gets more fresh veggies, or are you content to stay in a place where frozen and canned are your best options.
