I vaguely remember something about teaching English to Japanese in relation to DaShi. I only remember it for the awesome "take anything you want" video though. All other details of that interaction were assessed to be insignificant in comparison and so were purged from memory.

Our little holiday to Japan is coming to an end today.
Yesterday we went Enoshima island
Beautiful place, good view of Mount Fuji when the weather permits. There is a local railway that runs along the coast. Great food.
Last night we went to Roppongi, Tokyo's nightlife hub, for sushi. It's been a great trip.
We stayed at the Grand Prince Takanawa hotel.
The hotel needs a refurb but that helps keep the cost down - retro chic and lots of sixties charm, everything works and runs smoothly as in any good established hotel.
It has really beautiful gardens with walking paths, a luxury in Tokyo, and clearly an appreciative clientele, return visitors, mainly Japanese, an older crowd. I would stay there again, very close to one of the big railway hubs - Shinagawa station.
Next time I come to Japan I will stay longer.Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

will do to both of you
Now that I am a harmless old man, they can't tell if you are 50 or 70, I was treated wonderfully in Tokyo, getting extra points for travelling around with my wife, which Japanese don't seem to do unless very old and still both alive, same in Korea
Although that had its drawbacks - being offered seats on the subway, much to Mrs Horse's amusement. She looks a lot younger than me.Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..
