That's the traditional Thai greeting and is a symbol of peace. They stole it from the Indians. If you look at old footage Gandhi did it all the time.

That said Thai chicks are both cute and slutty. Plus as an added bonus even the regular girls love white guys and are often ready for a roll in the hay if he seems like boyfriend material. They don't have the general hang ups about sex many westerners do (especially protestant westerners). I'm not even talking about the prostitutes.
