How many of you live pay check to paycheck?
I heard on the radio that 46% of anericans live paycheck to paycheck.

The reason I'm drunk? I saw some old people die last night and it has made me sad.
We live our whole lives to grow old and die alone. i try to give the m confort like holding thier hand but i wish i could have done more.
So sad.
Most have no family and if they do the family only shows up to see what they will get when they pass away. Reminded me of vultures.

I live bank transfer to bank transfer. Though I make about 5 to 10 times what I need for living expenses.

I'm "saving" though. By investing in land, building a house (paid in cash) and helping Net's brothers go to college. Hopefully we'll have our house finished enough to live in comfortably in the next 6 to 8 months. Then I can basically retire. (I'm already pretty much there ... I just play Facebook games for "work".)

As for the elderly family members, they're still respected here for the most part.

It's just so hard, if people only knew. i''l kill myself first before i will live in one of those places.

That's a tough gig, DFG. It's like doing your job isn't enough, and how do you not take some of that home with you?

My mom's a career RN, and I've been through 2 generations of family members in nursing facilities. Brutal.
