  • Iranian President wishes Jews a happy Rosh Hashanah

    @HassanRouhani

    As the sun is about to set here in #Tehran I wish all Jews, especially Iranian Jews, a blessed Rosh Hashanah. pic.twitter.com/tmaf84x7UR

    To us, it is the BEAST.

    Seems there is a leader with some political savvy in Tehran these days.

    Not sure if this has any impact on Iran's anti-semitic policy, but this should play well in Miami Beach.

      Yeah, he needs those old Jew votes if he hopes to take Florida in the next election.

        He's at least making nice noises even if he hasn't changed anything of substance. Still, baby steps are still steps.

            I welcome such baby steps regardless of his true intent.
            It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

              Yeah...any step in the right direction is a good one. Would be nice if we could see some more concrete steps though.

              And Sava, the "votes" he needs from the "old jews" is to not be pressing Congress and the Administration to go to war with Iran when they finally produce their nuclear weapon.

                Is it wrong that I read that as Happy Roshambo at first?
