  • Al Jazeera America

While I'm glad we now have a new source for real news instead of sensational bull**** and partisan spin... I am more than a little cheesed off that this means Americans can no longer watch Al Jazeera free online as they now want us to put in our zip code and enter a password from our local cable provider. The whole point of me buying a Roku box was to escape the evils (not to mention the over charging) of the local cable company. This seems a step backwards.

It figures you would think that al jazeera is free of partisan spin.

Most foreign media is not involved in partisan American politics. That's why I like to listen to outsiders looking in (such as BBC, CBC, and Al Jazeera) instead of domestic news sources. Sure, I'll watch the domestics as well but definitely check them against the international sources which almost always provide more depth of information and less spin due to not having a dog in the domestic race.

It's about as partisan as CNN, but nowhere near as partisan as MSNBC or Fox News.

          No kidding. Typical moronic spin.

Theyve done a great job of not sensationalizing stories worthy of tabloid press.

Does MSNBC know you're cheating on it?

                  Having AT&T U-Verse, I don't get Al Jazeera.

Al Jazeera sticks to the news too much for my tastes. So I switch it over to FoxNews or CNBC to find out what the latest diet crazes are, and to be reminded that Ds and Rs don't like each other.
