  • The next country to go Greek?

I'm putting my peso on the Spanish, then the Italians. After that I'll bypass the French and go with the Brits. 900% of GNP, including unfunded liabilities, is too much for any nation to bear. Question is, after the Spain and Italy, will there still be an EU? Perhaps a Northern Europe economic association of sorts? The rest left to sunny beaches and inflation? Just FYI the Philippines is booming. My real estate investments have tripped in value. Thought that might make you happy.

What's your opinion on the EU?

I didn't know there was so much demand for Philippine mail order brides.

Erm, who has debt equal to 900% of GDP? Were you maybe talking about the 90% that the UK has? Seriously, even Greece only has about 150% (as of 2012).

I saw it on youtube, a definitive source. Also got a friend in the UK that served the navy all his life and has watched his savings and pension taking it pretty hard. Thought I'd ***** about it. Since nothing anyone says matters on this forum, am I not free to say any silly thing? I think not!

What does "go Greek" even mean? The Greeks haven't defaulted yet, have they?
