Me growing plants in my apartment has no effect on crime at large, and yet is illegal just the same. Nevermind that pot trafficking could be 20 lbs of marijuana going to medical marijuana facilities. Surely you're not so myopic to think that marijuana has the same impact that other drugs have on gang/cartel violence. Its a grey market drug. and even then there is more violent crime associated with legal prescription pills than pot.
