Her age is arguably a factor in her cinema tastes.
    Her marital status is not.

      Fine, DAD.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Wife and I (whose marital status and age are not available for discussion) saw this on opening night, accidentally (we had my sister in town to watch the kids and so just went to see whatever we could stand, as we haven't seen a movie together in ... 2 years? How old is my older son now? ) Actually wasn't that bad, not nearly as bad as the first. It's not any better than I expected it to be, but it wasn't a waste of money (and yes, we did pay for it :P ) I liked the storyline. I can't see how this isn't something new; this is the story of how he met his great love (Mariko), which is perhaps the most significant person in Logan's life. I never read the comics where she first appeared, so it was nice to see the story played out.

while I too lament the marginalization of practical effects, you might as well stop going to the movies at this point. you are running up against the guardrail of complaining how wet water is

Jurassic Park really does still look great. I rewatch it on occasion and can't really tell it was made 20 years ago.

The studio wants to make a sequel, but they're not sure how to avoid a title about a hairstyle.
