The girl on the right (the "lead artist," as if there are other artists jumping aboard this Hidenberg) probably offered to prostitute herself immediately upon her arrival at the house in question, but the Valium and coke tenaciously prevent straightjacket's dick from working, and we all know where fudgepacker Jon stands on the issue of poontang. Now she's wondering if life as a streetwalker is actually preferable, even if she does have to tell her parents that they wasted eight years of community college tuition so that she could pursue her pipe dream of becoming a true artist and drawing flowers and gentials and wistfully watching Leonardo diCaprio films all day.

Nikolai, as I understand it, the GI is important because not all carbs are created equal. Potatoes, for example, are apparently pure evil for diabetics. The carbs in them all hit hard...somehow. Something about how they metabolize. Yeah, I don't know much of the details, but you should at least look into it. My Dad controls his diabetes very well by just knowing what to avoid.

I don't know. I'm really not familiar with the details at all, so I'd advise you to look into it and decide for yourself. My dad relies on the GI and he's in very good shape for a diabetic; I don't think he even needs to ***** his finger anymore.

That's because refined carbs increase blood sugar more quickly than unrefined, as a rule. Even so some unrefined foods can still do the same thing. Bananas and boiled potatoes can digest faster than white bread (the worst bread for GI).(\__/)

Bananas are great for keeping the blood sugar okay when excercising, true. Not effective enough if you have low bloodsugar in my experience. But potatoes is okay to eat for diabetics, that and rice is what most dinners include for me. Together with fish, chicken and pork, and vegetables, that is what most of my dinners is made up of. Your diet is better than that of many others. The important thing is it works for you.
I'm not an expert, but have been doing a lot of reading lately. An interesting idea I've come across is the idea that 'nutritionism' can be counterproductive when people focus too much on one aspect of diet (fat, sugar, natural, etc) and pay too little attention to others. It's very complicated, because there are many different ideas out there that are derived from plans having different goals, or means of reaching the same goals.(\__/)
