EDIT: This was a terrible joke; I'm going to go hide its body in the woods and hope nobody is quoting it with a smiley as I type this.

Definitely whales. Especially when they're rotting on a beach.

Crap. Okay, how much is this going to cost me, and in which bills?

Thanks for pointing that out, Lori, I didn't realize that was possible.

Taxes, only because it's an anagram of Texas.

Yes. Seriously. It comes with being able to edit posters' posts. I've tried to get the administration to remove my powers over the years, but they don't seem to want to. I don't abuse this power, in case you're worried. But there is no particular reason why I should have it.

Whales eat fish that are rightfully ours while taxes pay for roads and bridges we need. Whales

What if they're a filter feeding whale? Or do you consider krill to rightfully belong on your BBQ?

                        Obviously, you are a whalist!

Whales were an amazing resource in Civ2

I'd forgotten about that, but they were, weren't they? Big bonus to shields and +1 to food and trade, IIRC. In Civ4 I've never actually gotten one--they so rarely show up near a coast I control that I tend to forget they even exist.

223? FSC IIRC. A harbour adds one food. Pretty powerful early-game, especially because you don't need to improve it.
