I'm willing to bet that due to all the **** the US lets into its food that the American population is rife with allergies - I bet the US is off the scale compared to Europe, for example...

airborne pollen in my case. You may be on to sumptin there. A lot of kids do have food allergies.

Normally it's only a very minor problem for me, but this year has really been bad.

Ditto, I usually have some bad days later in June but this year is bad already.
