Command Line Interface...?

Quick question: when you hear the phrase "Command Line Interface," does some part of your brain feel a strong desire to append a word like "terminal" for amusing-acronym purposes? That happened to me the first time I heard it, and still happens every time. My lab partner says, "hey, the link's still down on that router," and I want to say something like "hold on, let me play with the CLIT and see if I can make 'er happy." I don't, because some of my female classmates might object, but I've asked my lab partner quietly and he says he totally does that too.
