                    The fact that The Alamo was a children's movie made by Disney says a lot about the world some of us grew up in.

                                I might add the Alamo represented good values and I remember vowing never to forget when I was about 7, which was a bit odd since I was growing up in Australia

                                It also presented Texas as a pretty cool place I have never lost my respect for Texans.
