    I found a big site attached to this forum

    It's called Apolyton and it's devoted to the civ series of games. Of course I ran back here into our little burrow as fast as I could.

    I intend to make more explorations once I get over the shock.

    Some of the forums are full of intelligent posters discussing interesting topics. No sign of anyone contemplating their own pee.

    No Babe threads either
    Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

            Everyone knows the other sub forums are just a myth.

                  Apolyton is "doing crap". This used to be a very fast paced board. Now you come back after an hour and there is one or two posts. What has happened?

                    Well, the civ fora got shredded by Firaxis stealing all of the good guys to help work on CIV (they made up most of the beta test group) and after that they just wandered off. Then the remainder went with the panda ****er.

                          Civ4 got old and Civ5 sucks ass. Is it really that odd that a fan site without a popular game doesn't get much new traffic?

                            I think we should do some on-topic recruitment - without being disruptive. Most of us ended up here after the great disappointment of Civ III.

                              Why? Civ5 sucks so bad what could anyone possibly have to say about it other than "Well, that game sucked"?
